Evaluation
Bid Comparator
Puts the bids side by side.
Four bids in four formats, retyped into a grid, where a transposed figure changes the apparent low bidder.
The same criteria down the side, the same units across, and every figure traceable to the page it was read from.
How it works
Side-by-side comparison against the stated evaluation criteria, plus a normalized price tabulation across differing bid formats.
Bidders answer in different orders and formats. Normalizing that by hand is where evaluation time disappears.
It uses your published criteria
The comparison runs against the criteria as published, in the order published, not a structure of its own.
It normalizes the pricing
Bids priced per month, per visit and per square foot are restated in one unit so the totals can actually be compared.
It shows where each figure came from
Every cell in the tabulation carries the page it was read from, so a disputed number can be checked in seconds.
It describes, and never scores
The table reports what each bid says against each criterion. The scoring is done by evaluators, on the record.
Rows come from your RFP
Restated in one unit
bid formats normalized
Per square foot, over the full term.
Every cell cited
What it will not add
Ask it anything
Every answer quotes its page.
Answers come only from the documents on the run, and each one carries the citation you would have gone looking for.
Over the full three-year term, Ridgeline is lowest at the normalized rate. Carter is lower in year one but prices renewals separately, and Alder excludes floor care, which the scope requires.
What it will not do
Descriptive only. It normalizes and tabulates what the bids say, with a citation behind every figure, and never scores or ranks anyone.
